about my site

the way a person perceives their world is as unique as a finger print. we may all be taught to view and record visual material in a specific way, but our perception of that material, and the complex mesh of meanings we attribute to it, are our own. many of our meanings are shared with others, and many are specific to our own experiences.

for me, the process involved in making  work is as important as its outcome. the process becomes a personal journey, and the interaction with the materials of making becomes informative.

for these reasons my site is not a very polished gallery, but rather an organic space to share sections of the journey with those who wish to look. some of the work is old and some recent. i expect the journey to continue, and the view to change.
